Please meet at 5:00pm on Thursday August 4th at the Maple Mountain Tennis courts with your parent. We will need to hold a parent meeting to discuss the season schedule and cover the necessary information . We will then hold our first team practice starting at approx. 6pm.

Tennis Tryouts - August 1st @ 5PM

Tryouts for this years Lady Golden Eagle tennis team will be held on Monday, August 1st starting at 5PM at the MMHS tennis complex.

This year we will be holding a tryout tournament. Come prepared for match play.

PS. Please make sure you have your completed MMHS medical release forms. This will be your ticket into tryouts.

Tennis Tryouts - Medical Release Reminder

Just a quick reminder that anyone interested in trying out for the Girls Tennis team must complete the MMHS Medical release form and have a completed physical with a physician before you will be allowed to tryout.

If you do not have the release forms, please contact Coach Rose or Coach Cronquist and arrange to pick up the paperwork.

Maple Mountain Youth Tennis Camp

Maple Mountain HS Tennis Camp

Tennis fever has hit the Spanish Fork and Mapleton communities. The Ma-ple Mountain Girls Tennis team has won back to back region 8 titles and produced many region champions. The girls tennis team is once again

offering a youth tennis camp to share their skills and talent with the youth of our community.

The camp will run from July 18th – 22nd starting in the evening at 6:00pm at the Maple Mountain High School courts. All proceeds will go towards the tennis programs at MMHS.

Camp Details

• Cost: $30

• Please make checks payable to Maple Mountain High School.

• Campers will learn stroke fundamentals, skills training, games, and match play.

• All campers will receive an awesome tennis T-shirt.

• Please bring your racquet and water bottle.

• Elementary and Jr. High School students are welcome to attend.

• The camp is limited to the first 50 registrations.

MMHS Girls Tennis 2012 Meeting May 23rd

We would like to invite all girls interested in trying out for the Fall 2012 MMHS Girls Tennis team to a parent meeting on Monday, May 23rd @ 5:30 pm at the tennis courts at Maple Mountain HS. We will be discussing summer tennis, fundraisers, our fall tennis schedule including tryouts, physicals, paperwork, etc.

Dave Boyack, our athletic director and Patty Fahringer, our athletic trainer will be there to discuss physicals, and participation requirements.

Happy New Year

I hope everyone had a great holiday this year and all of you got lots of new tennis gear.

Our winter tennis workouts will begin the first part of February 2011, once the dead period is complete. As we get closer we will post some dates at times that we will meet and the Spanish Fork indoor courts. If you are interested in playing during January you can participate with the Spanish Fork city recreation winter tennis program.

There is a local USTA tournament coming up in February at Gold's Gym in Orem. Danny Sperry Junior Memorial
